**Work In Progress**

I'M BACKKK :), I got back yesterday but I was so tired and I just missed home I decided I didn't want to blog. I'm going to start by saying happy birthday to my best friend and my sister. <3

Ok so while I was away - first in Padstow, Cornwall then in Long Ashford, Bristol - I made a list of thing on my phone so that I wouldn't forget all the things that happened. Without including the evening meals there are 41 points starting with the amount of points I have to mention in this blog...

5am skies.
Secondly 9 days ago I was up at 5am, something i'm not used to and didn't really, entirely love... but the pictures were pretty >> see.

Once we were in the car things settled a bit and I gave Katiee a couple of bits of HubbaBubba and she managed to blow a bubble almost as big as her face, I didn't get a picture of it but instead got this of another bubble...

Not the biggest bubble but residue of another...
Once we were there, we relaxed for about half an hour then decided to put everything up, the awning etc.
(The awning being the tent that attched to the outside of the caravan, until I went away with Katiee, I didn't know this :L). This was bit stressful as everyone was tired and it was irritating for Katiee's parents as me and Katiee sat in the car so that we were out of the way.

By the end of the first day I was having difficulty adjusting to being up so early and to the camping lifestyle, I was in tears and decided that I wanted to go home, at this point it was about half past nine, Pm so I had to sleep on it anyway there was no way someone would get me at half nine... a three hour and a half drive.

The next morning I was in tears again but texting Mum and Nic convinced me to give it another chance...

After having breakfast me and Katiee decided to sunbath and that afternoon we went shopping in the centre of the town/village (?) of Padstow in which I bought two sticks of rock an umbrella and a thermometer for mum’s office. The main reason I bought the umbrella was because it was raining whilst we were in Padstow. Glad they were only £3 something. *sigh of relive*. :L
Oh by the way when I say raining I mean the heavens opened, it pissed it down (for lack of a better word) it was very, very heavy.

Once back to the caravan, changed into dry clothes we relaxed, me and Katiee read. Moving in and out from the caravan due the sun then immediate, heavy rain..
The next day we drove the Newquay, not far from higher harlyn (campsite)
We went into a few shops, peacocks, newlook etc, and I bought some new clothes...
Some trousers, a skirt, I got some new sun glasses (aviators) and a long handled bag which mum is currently borrowing whilst out with nic at the pub as she turned eighteen.

What happens to blue WKD when pepsi is added
That night we had a glass of WKD with dinner and as Katiee had already had a glass of coke she added the last bit of it to her WKD and it ended up turning it green :L this made me giggle... a lot.

After dinner we decided the weather was nice enough to sit outside and we spotted this family, to parent and a boy who looked the same age as us, after ogling him from a far for a few days his mum got talking to Sophie bugular's mum and told them all about him, Sophie then relayed this to me and Katiee later, it turned out his name was like Kieran (just pronounced differently) he was our age, just finished his GSCE's (like us) and he like surfing...
He was very cute. ;) X

the next day we went to a place called Anne’s cottage and we looked around St. Merryn, the little village/town (?) near our campsite and whilst we were on our way back to campsite, once done, we saw his guy on a ped, he was behind us and me and Katiee decided to wave to him and he ended up beeping at us and smiling, as he turned off, Katiee turned to me and said "I just made a new friend" :L hahaha x

The next day we didn't have to get up until nine or ten because we were going to drive to Bristol, it was Wednesday already. Once we had breakfast we started to pack everything up, the tents. Sleeping bags etc. and we set off around lunchtime. The drive from Padstow to Bristol was almost four hours due to bad directions and stupid country lanes not built to drive caravans through. This was already stressful and then everything had to be put up, increasing stress levels and anger emotions in everyone... not good.
On a good note though, while on the M5 (I think) a bright yellow Lamborghini passed us and we all stared at it... It was nice ;)

As it was Julia's (Sophie’s mummy) birthday we went over and celebrated for a while. Me and Katiee didn’t' stay long as we were very tired and fed up due to the drive there... at this point we adopted the phrase tomorrow will be better... this was used repeatedly for the rest of the holiday... hahaha

one we had all gotten some (not much sleep) we decided to check out the balloon festival, (fiesta but Katiee said were not allowed to call it that ) :LL  As everyone is a big fan of free things then we went in search of freebies, pens etc and we came across the Medley bar stall... they were giving away free bars so we got some and later decided to go and try to get more, and to our surprise we did. We never counted up how many but Sophie’s family counted that all together they collected 20 bars.
One particular medley bar ;)
It was amazing how the people handing them out didn't really look at you... this was good ;) tehe

After dinner that Thursday night I remembered that I had bought some fudge from one of the shops in St Merryn and I dug it out of my suitcase, I had shoved it in during the relocating process. It was only £1.50 in one of the shops but it tasted lush and it took me a few sittings to finish it but it was really nice. Hahaha ;) x

Not and amazing pic as it was taken whilst walking
Once we had munched of a few medley bars Sophie’s brother Jamie came along with chips on a stick (spirals of fried potatoes covered in flavourings) Katiee’s dad gave me Sophie and Katiee a fiver to go and get one each... me and Katiee got sour cream and onion and Sophie got pizza flavoured. Ours was nice but Sophie wasn't as keen on hers :L shame :L hahaha

Night glow
Come half past nine that evening the hot air balloons had been inflated and everyone was waiting for the music, a night glow is where the hot air balloons light up in time to music, everyone was amazed and lots of flashy pictures were taken, makes me glad my stepdad wasn't with us. <3

Fireworks
Once the night glow had finished and the applause had drawn to a close the fireworks finale began, the flew up, high into the sky from behind a line of dark trees at the other end of the field from where we were standing, I was told something that I had never known about Katiee... she doesn't like fireworks... I had no idea :L weird right, that I didn't know.

After standing for several hours we made our way home (back to the caravans) at a very slow pace of what seemed like 0.5 miles an hour. Dragging umbrellas and handbags and in some cases the dogs behind us.

I was awake at around 5am the next morning due to the noise of the passing train and I decided to carry on reading the book I had bought, started in Padstow, I must have been more than half way through when I reached a section of the book that contained an detailed explanation of a sexual encounter, and the word erection actually came up in my book, later that day I showed it to Katiee thinking that she would laugh... she did :L hahaha.

We didn't do much on Friday, we attempted to go the festival but after not being there very long it rained very heavily and we decided to go back to the caravans, there was no point sitting there.
Balloons from feild.
Later that evening as we were just finishing dinner the mass launch of balloons became visible from our field and we moved chairs outside so that we could count how many there were, using Andrea’s binoculars and Julia's spotting guide we managed to. Almost complete the checks, the view was amazing and lots of pictures were taken. There was also a balloon shaped like Churchill.

His eyes were kind of scary.
The next morning, the day being Saturday had batter promises for weather and we had planned a day spent at the balloon festival the car was already packed and parked up there, the night before we had been told there was no need to get up early so neither of us (me or Katiee) got up until about ten but even then it was because we needed a wee and couldn’t hold on any longer (that was defo me, idk about Katiee but I think she went anyway ;))
We all got dressed and sorted out and after packing up lunch we headed up to the festival, that was already busy, we managed to find a spot and we stuck to it for most of the day, it wasn't until after the mass launch, (another beautiful photo opportunity and memorable moment) that we moved closer to Sophie’s parents.

This meant we didn’t take up as much room, as the night went on the field filled up and two people, guys moved into the space next to us, well me and after moving our stuff we all sat down, I didn't catch one guys name but one was called Ashley. They were on the phone to a friend of theirs called Sam, he was looking for them, the boys stood next to me were trying to direct him but by the end of the night they gave up. At one point I turned to Sophie and said, "Boys are crap at Directions". She just laughed. :)
The night glow, the second I had seen was better that the first, partly because we hadn't been standing so long and partly because we had a better view.

Before the night glow, during our subway dinner I became enraged by people walking across our blanket and ever wheeling buggies across it, I was so annoyed I kept adjusting it so that people wouldn't walk on it and even when I stretched out my leg to remind people it was there, people just stepped over my leg and on the blanket on the other side of my leg. It amazed me how inconsiderate people could be of other people’s things, I don't think I’ve ever been so mad, so irritated in my life and so many people. :@ x
once the night had finished, during the fireworks finale we headed back o the car, attempting to avoid crows, Katiee was telling her mum that her ankle had been hurting and once we'd made it to the car she sat down and on our way back to the caravan we were talking about having to walk back and Katiee turned to her mum and dad and told them if we'd have had to walk home, she didn't think she would have been able to, we were all glad that we were driven home, after another long day, I was glad I was going home tomorrow.
Katiee's boyfriend Jordan called later that evening making Katiee almost forget about the pain in her ankle and she was happier once the he had called her. This was good ;)

I really enjoyed Saturday as it was packed full of things to watching and things to do and I want to thanks Andrew and Andrea, Julia and terry, Katiee Sophie and Jamie for making my holiday so enjoyable xxx thanks everyone so much.. <3

Having sorted out my handbag before bed I remembered that I only had £1.34 left from forty pounds and I tried to remember how I spent it :L. I had a plan at the start of the holiday to spend a certain amount in each place and have some left over... £10 in Padstow, £10 in new quay and £10 in Bristol... I would have ten left to spend kinda anywhere. This didn't work however because I must have spent about £20 in New quay alone and £15 in Padstow so I don’t have much left for Bristol... I'm not good with money it turns out :L hahaha

The following morning we got up, packed all our things had breakfast, took down the awning and after packing lunch for the car, we made a detoured a route to the M5 (I think) to take us back home via Yeovil.

Thanks Everyone <33 xx
After an amazing holiday I was glad to be home and glad to have my bed back, I want to thank everyone who cheered me up and made me enjoy myself regardless. Thank your so much <3 xx

I realise looking back that this blog is very long and due to its length it may not be read fully by some people but I hope that they will read it anyway. It has taken two days to muster up the energy and determination to finish this blog  so I apologise for the lateness, I will post again tomorrow hopefully...

A few things I wanted to mention that happened since I’ve been back...

My friend’s birthday was yesterday, Imogen Patterson and there are four birthday I know of today, only two people that I am close to and that were mentioned at the top of this blog.
Today around twelve my sister had her first tattoo as it was her 18th birthday today. and also we did our nails, she and mum have gone out for the evening with my step brother to the pub leaving just me and my step dad home, although I think he's gone to bed. I'm  not sure ;) tehe

As you will notice... it's Empty :L
I’m glad I was able to finish this blog although I can tell I won't be far from going to bed...  as I’m super tired now... I will post more tomorrow of how my mum and sister recover from tonights adventure :L hahaha :) *wink wink*

That's it from me tonight I believe ;)
PEACE...I'm Out xx
